Toronto Violin Studio, situated at 16th Avenue and McCowan Road in Markham, Ontario, offers music theory, viola, and violin lessons.

Toronto Violin Studio was founded by concert violinist Agoston Tamas as a place where quality violin and viola lessons may be provided in a creative and supportive milieu to motivated students wishing to improve their technical skills and realize musical talent.

Students at Toronto Violin Studio have the benefit of studying the violin, viola, as well as musicianship and chamber music, with a teacher who is not only an accomplished educator but also a highly skilled player.

Tamas has an international performance background as a concert violinist, having worked with orchestras such as the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Australian Chamber Orchestra, and the Sydney Symphony in Australia, the Gothenburg Symphony in Sweden, as well as the Danish National Symphony Orchestra in Copenhagen, Denmark.

Tamas previously taught the violin in Hong Kong, Scandinavia, Australia, and the United States where he was an undergraduate teaching assistant at Yale University School of Music.

Tamas has prepared violin students for concerts, music examinations, admission to higher music education, music competitions, eisteddfods, auditions, recitals, and orchestral work.

Toronto Violin Studio provides music theory, viola, and violin lessons in accordance with the Canadian Royal Conservatory of Music curriculum and syllabus.
